Away/Secondary kits[edit]

Greetings all, do you feel the section on the uniforms/kits could be updated for the away kits or even the secondary? When I went to matches this year, the secondary kit was pretty much all black with a silver logo and championship stars. Silver text and numbers on the back. I assume you're talking about the "evolution" section. As long as they are discussed, you could add them. Walter Görlitz (talk) 07:05, 18 November 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Portland Timbers[edit]

Howdy, should the Portland Timbers section should be removed for irrelevance? I'm an outsider so I don't feel confident actually removing it so I thought I'd mention it's removal in the talk page. From some light research there doesn't seem to be much of a rivalry between KC and PDX, and the paragraph focuses more on the NWSL which seems irrelevant to both the subsection and an article on the men's soccer team. Kansas City Metro Area[edit]

I have restored the lead sentence referencing the metro area that was deleted by an ip. Sporting KC is rather unique due to its location in a bi-state metropolitan area with a confusing etymology. While the teams HQ and founding were in one state (the city of Kansas City, Missouri after which it is named), it's current stadium and games are in another state (the suburb of Kansas City, Kansas). The only comparable pro team I can think of is the New York Giants, who play in New Jersey, that article deals with the potentially confusing situation in a similar way, by generalizing to the metro and explaining the details. Merger with Kansas City Wizards[edit]

The page for Kansas City Wizards should become a redirect for this page, as both pages cover the same team and the information presented in that article is, or should, be covered in this article. Even the talk page for "Kansas City Wizards" redirects to this page. Seems like a pretty open and shut case. -JJonahJackalope (talk) 01:33, 9 April 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Support. Two articles for one team are not needed. Викидим (talk) 02:57, 9 April 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Restoring the redirect that was removed yesterday. There is nothing to merge because this article is completely unsourced and therefore unverifiable anyway. Cielquiparle (talk) 06:23, 9 April 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Support. It's a duplicate. EatingCarBatteries (talk) 19:42, 9 April 2024 (UTC)[reply]
