Source for their arms: "Armed with spears and broadswords, they wrapped their heads in yellow turbans. [...] "the warlord troops sent to suppress them met with fierce resistance. [...] They believed they could make themselves invincible against bullets and swords, and even the educated residents accepted their claims." (Tai, Hsüan-chih (1985). The Red Spears, 1916-1949, p. 66); source for their successes: "The Spirit Soldiers of Sichuan and Hubei, designated by their yellow turbans, attracted 100,000 members and controlled forty districts, refusing to pay taxes, resisting warlord advances" (Fenby, Jonathan (2008). The article is well developed and interesting, with length, date, referencing and neutrality all looking good. Earwig detects no copyright violations. The hook is good, supported by references.
