This article is historical only.[edit]

The SAP ceased to exist as such in 1994. All post 94 information belongs in the South African Police Service article, not here. The entire article needs to be changed to past tense too. Roger (talk) 09:48, 10 September 2011 (UTC)[reply]

For noting again is the fact that at one point the South African Police changed from being a Service to being a Force, this was during the Bheki Cele's tenure then after Bheki Cele was dismissed on corruption charges they returned back to being a Service Bobbyshabangu _talk 14:53, 3 June 2014 (UTC)[reply]
