Requesting reassessment[edit]

@Starcheerspeaksnewslostwars:, Hello Starcheerspeaksnewslostwars. I was wondering if you could reassess this song article as well the other song articles from the same album (O Tú o Ninguna, Dormir Contigo, and Amarte Es un Placer (song). Thanks! Erick (talk) 20:58, 20 April 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Initial comments:[edit]

  • On the talk page, I would include it under the "WikiProject Jazz" since you cited jazz as a genre
  • In the infobox, generally the first genre is capitalized so I would capitalize the first 'p' in "pop"
  • In "horn-driven uptempo pop song", I would suggest linking "pop" to "Pop music"
  • "The single was released in four versions of the song" --> Could you reword this? I think it sounds choppy because both "single" and "song" are used
  • "pop recordings" --> I'd also like pop here
  • Just a suggestion: "He denied..." --> "He also denied..."
  • "and Arturo Perez.[9][1]" --> "and Arturo Perez.[1][9]"
  • "Miguel handling the productions himself." --> I don't think "production" needs to be plural; I only think you need to refer to the song itself and not the album
  • "foam at the seashore".[13][8]" --> "foam at the seashore".[8][13]"
  • "Houston Chronicle critic Joey Guerra chided the tune as a "tepid mix of blaring horns and uninspired lyrics"[12]" --> You need a period at the end of this sentence as it is currently incomplete
ON HOLD – good, solid work as always. Ping me with questions. Thank you, Carbrera (talk) 02:17, 13 May 2017 (UTC).[reply]
@Carbrera: Thanks for the review Carbera. I believe I've addressed everything that you brought up. It's a shame that I couldn't make it to the next round of the WikiCup though. :( Erick (talk) 03:27, 13 May 2017 (UTC)[reply]
Magiciandude – Oh no! That is a shame! You're so good at expanding articles related to latin music! It's so nice to see your passion come alive in your articles! My best wishes; hope all is good. Regards, Carbrera (talk) 04:22, 13 May 2017 (UTC).[reply]
