I'm sorry to say that this highly commercialized article about a four year old restaurant is ridiculous. Talk about tail wagging the dog! The history of the 140 year old building itself is quite interesting. The article, however, focuses on a recently-opened restaurant, catering to wealthy day-trippers and tourists. If history is any guide, this pricey high class joint will likely disappear in a couple years anyway! In the mean time, this Wikipedia article will serve as a nice advertisement for it.

Never mind that many of the historical bits are incorrect or open to question. Biography of the current owners, ha! Who cares! Sure, their former restaurant "Manka's" was popular and Prince Charles went there once. So what! He didn't go there because of these folks! Gradé and DeLong bought Manka's in 1999, after the previous owner had developed its cuisine and worldwide reputation over the course of several decades!

There is so much commercial interest and insider-dealing in this article that it is laughable. If, as I must assume, you are maintaining this article without personal financial interest, I urge you to consider my argument objectively.

To anyone who is interested, yesterday I edited this article extensively and moved it to "Olema Inn (historic building)." You may like to check the edit history and see that article. I also consulted Marin County historic newspapers to correct and clarify the building's history.

Anyway, I guess it's all about making money. I must assume it is merely an oversight on your part to not realize that the Wikipedia page serves mainly to promote a fairly new restaurant. Have a good day. GH-1959 (talk) 22:48, 7 March 2016 (UTC)[reply]
