Gurindji strike[edit]

The subsection mentioning the Gurindji strike I would propose for modification if not deletion. The strike took place in the 1960s the decade after his death. It ought to be limited to particulars the the Gurindji station that would be relevant to his lifetime, with the strike an after-note recognising it was a consequence of the brothers' actions. I note the strike anyway has its own main article.Cloptonson (talk) 18:29, 10 August 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Yes, you're right, Cloptonson, my mistake. I was doing a lot of work on the Gurindji strike from a number of sources and didn't read into the detail enough. After finding and linking to the brothers who founded the company and who were featured in the name of its first incarnation (with several sources referring to "the Vestey Brothers"), I thought the strike was worth a mention in each article - but as you say, Edmund was dead and so of course was his brother William. I'll have a look and remove or change the sections in each into a passing mention. Laterthanyouthink (talk) 00:33, 11 August 2020 (UTC)[reply]
