Review in progress. First impression: a good article overall, had to remove the See Also section, as no article links remained, after removing links that were already used in the body. Someone please look for closely related articles that should be mentioned. Kbrose (talk) 13:48, 17 June 2009 (UTC)

Yes, I am. I think this article gives a good representation of the subject matter. It is written in a clear factual manner with a balanced presentation, not too much technical expert knowledge yet informative for even technical readers in search of a general discussion. The article high-lights the most important properties and provides many of SiC uses. It provides many inline citations for reference and additional reading. The lack of 'See also' wiki links is not perfect, however, but does not impede cross referencing within WP, since the text contains many inline wiki links. Editing activity in this article seems quite stable, I made some improvement that I felt were necessary. If there are no strong objections by other editors, I would like to close the review and approve GA status. Kbrose (talk) 16:40, 4 July 2009 (UTC)
