Flag of the Sidama Zone[edit]

I don't know if it will be of any help but i was recently asked to mock up the flag which has been shown in use as the "Sidama Flag", via various news articles and photographs. I'm placing a link to it here for informational purposes as I feel I do not have enough experience of the matter to consider personally inserting it into the article.

Not yet a Region, still part of SNNPR[edit]

Sources on the referendum said that the Zone would not become a Region and secede from the SNNPR until after a long political process and an amendment to Ethiopia's constitution. I have not been able to find any information to suggest that this has happened yet. Furthermore, here's a source from two months ago saying that the process had been delayed: [1]. It seems like any edits to this page to suggest that the change was already accomplished were premature. GeoEvan (talk) 04:24, 4 April 2020 (UTC)[reply]
