Removal of unsourced content[edit]

Removed all unsourced and unverified material from this bio page (WP:V). In previous form this page appeared to be written as a self-bio and/or PR document. Most material was without sources or links to sources, and was written in a self-promoting style that included highly irrelevant info on the subject's inspirations in life, hobbies, dinner discussions, and heretofore unknown future projects (again, unsourced). This page also included the subject's email address and personal contact information.

As the subject has a long history in a public relations role, it is valid to verify and ensure that this page does not turn into a press release document for the subject. This is obviously anathema to the purpose and role of Wikipedia as an encyclopedic resource.

Wikipedia:Notability - edited to reflect only notable events for the subject, as the information contained in this document in prior form raised real questions about the actual notability of this subject, due to the amount of personal information depicted (appeared written by subject himself). Added notable links to subject's book at Amazon as well as his current video blog project for FastCompany.tv DJJ13 (talk) 04:46, 2 April 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Comments[edit]

I did not write the original entry as wikipedia implies I did. I did edit it to correct numerous factual errors. Now wikipedia has eliminated has allowed someone to post two articles which are intended to hold me up to ridicule and scorn. I request that those two be deleted and that any changes be submitted by third parties and be of objective and biological nature.

Removed parody discussion[edit]

I removed the paragraph about Loren's "gag feud" with Israel. I don't see why it's notable enough to mention, much less to take up more than 50% of the article, and include a photograph. But, note that I am an acquaintance of Israel's, so my judgment may be clouded.

I also removed a redundant mention of Israel's upcoming book, "Twitterville," which in any case characterized it inconsistently with the first mention; the first mention's description I believe to be more accurate and more neutral. dweinberger (talk) 16:10, 30 July 2009 (UTC)[reply]
