Expansion[edit]

This could be expanded to include a discussion of the typical number of sexual partners in different countries, and the different methods that men and women use to answer such questions, which account for a significant proportion of the divergence in the answers. This might be useful for information on the United States. WhatamIdoing (talk) 18:01, 19 September 2008 (UTC)[reply]

What defines a sexual partner?[edit]

I've always wondered how was "sexual partner" defined. Is it limited to intercourse? Does it include oral/sexual acts, etc.? —Preceding unsigned comment added by 74.14.208.142 (talk) 07:56, 5 December 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Removal of "Variations between cultures" section[edit]

I propose we remove this section entirely, as it is unsourced, poorly worded, and at best inaccurate. Or if someone wants to take on the monumental job of REALLY trying to delineate the different attitudes towards sexual partners in a more accurate representation of world wide cultures, making it more encyclopedic. I've removed the setion. The section has really less to do with the sexual partner. --TX55TALK 18:48, 25 November 2011 (UTC)[reply]
