The first of the two external links does not work. 0 for 2 so far... Michael Sheflin (talk) 06:24, 25 September 2009 (UTC)[reply]

I removed that link and put up a link to the spelling in Arabic, as I was dubious when Google Maps only found it via link to Wikipedia - hence needing to meet a better standard of third-party verifiability. Everything else on this article needs to be cited, if not only from those "further reading" sources. Michael Sheflin (talk) 06:40, 25 September 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Despite that link to an article that spells the name سرابيت (the article is a travelogue in a popular magazine), Google turns up several times as many hits with the spelling سرابيط, and they appear to be more scholarly and authoritative, such as the official Egyptian government site http://www.sis.gov.eg/Ar/LastPage.aspx?Category_ID=529. Likewise the Egyptian Wikipedia (http://arz.wikipedia.org/wiki/سرابيط_الخادم) spells it with ط. I've therefore changed it to the latter, and removed the link to the article with the so-called "Definitive spelling in Arabic". —Preceding unsigned comment added by 129.49.73.8 (talk) 15:03, 23 February 2010 (UTC)[reply]
