Untitled[edit]

"September in the Rain is a popular song." That must be the worst first line of an article I have ever seen on Wikipedia. I wish I knew enough about the song to suggest something better. It would be great if someone with some level of musical expertise could expand this article. 96.233.151.27 (talk) 21:40, 9 February 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Removal of Other Recorded Versions section[edit]

On December 11, 2020 I removed the following section from the Wikipedia article. It is lengthly, unsightly and difficult to read. It contains no information about the versions of the songs recorded and few references. Artists/versions from the below list should be added back to the article ONLY in the event that a notable and reliable source can be provided for each track (and preferably incorporated into the text of the article, rather than in list form only). IE, not just allmusic.com on its own. -Gohst (talk) 06:00, 11 December 2020 (UTC)[reply]

“Stars Over Broadway”[edit]

Strains of the melody of “September in the Rain” can be heard about 45 minutes into the 1935 film “Stars Over Broadway,” featuring James Melton. 73.4.58.169 (talk) 12:13, 13 January 2022 (UTC)[reply]
