NPOV?[edit]

In this revision, the section Sensormatic is a Leader in CCTV Technology (in particular the heading) sounds like a commercial ad. Furthermore, the rest of the article is low quality, and bulleted numbered lists ("* 1. Ultra Post...") are just plain wrong (they shouldn't be numbered anyway). I'm not sure how to best fix it and certainly am not an expert on Sensormatic. --Elektron 02:55, 4 October 2006 (UTC)[reply]

I adjusted it to make it a bit more objective. John2kx 15:56, 7 August 2007 (UTC)[reply]

As in, there are none here. Broader topics such as loss prevention show Sensormatic tags, why not here? And the flimsy adhesive plastic ones aren't the only thing they make. The gator tags, etc. would also be cool to see. --DigitalGadget 18:35, 21 August 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Incorrect information on this page[edit]

Hello,

This page has outdated information that should be updated. I do not want to update this page myself, as it may be considered a conflict of interest, but it's important that correct information be shared. Also, this page doesn't accurately depict what Sensormatic is and it would nice to have this page expanded. There is information on sensormatic.com as well as www.tycoretailsolutions.com.

Here are some instances on what is currently posted:

Sensormatic is frequently called by the name of its parent company ADT, formerly ADT/Tyco.

Sensormatic is a Tyco brand and not associated with ADT in North America. Sensormatic is a brand name applied to acoutso-magentic (AM) electronic article surveillance (EAS) and Radio-Frequency Identification (RFID) products. It is not a company.

The Sensormatic Supertag is a widely used hard loss prevention tag. The Supertag took over for the Sensormatic Ultragator tag. Ultragator is the tan Ultra Max tag that can be found in many retail stores. Ultragator tags were improved upon during the design of the Supertag.

There are so many more anti-theft products that Sensormatic offers. The Ultra Gator tag is still available and was not replaced by the SuperTag, although the SuperTag is the highest security tag that's offered.

I'm hoping I can get some guidance on how to have this page updated without conflict of interest. Please advise.

Thank you!
