Cleanup[edit]

Voice actors should be moved into the character discriptions. --TheFarix (Talk) 03:55, 25 March 2006 (UTC)[reply]

I'm not going to lie, whoever wrote this article has no grasp on how to write entries in an encyclopedia, even if it is wikipedia...there's too much use of "we" 83.100.132.218 (talk) 00:41, 14 December 2008 (UTC)[reply]

The article has been fixed up a bit since the above comment was written. It is fairly readable now. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Fixlein (talkcontribs) 05:00, 31 March 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Purposeful or Not?[edit]

Shannon Casull and his adopted sister, Pacifica, are said to have a very close relationship, one which borders on romance. Is this intentional by the creators? Or is it just an effect of their situation?

I wouldn’t know.u LustOfTheWired (talk) 03:40, 20 February 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Evil Aliens[edit]

I know aliens were supposed to be either part of the back story or a twist, but no reason was given for why they attacked Earth, and their fate is not even mentioned at the ending. I mean, theres a much bigger world out there than Providence, there is a universe controlled by the so-called 'evil aliens' (why are they evil again?) from the backstory, and their technology has been going on and developing for some 5,000 years since mankind was trapped on that world. Yet, for some reason at the ending the characters are cheerful and don't see this as a problem....

Did they ever address the aliens in more depth on an episode I missed, or in the manga series? --71.107.217.63 22:45, 7 September 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Not in the episodes. The manga, AFAIK, is another spinoff, more like "let's take the characters and theme and tell random stories", with no clear continuity with the anime. I have the three translated novels, they don't go up to the aliens, and are either poorly written or translated. -- Mindstalk (talk) 03:34, 18 November 2008 (UTC)[reply]

I think the point of the non-appearance of the aliens is that mankind's entrapment has become meaningless. It just carries on like a piece of machinery when the reason for it has been forgotten and the initiators of the situation are long gone. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Fixlein (talkcontribs) 05:03, 31 March 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Who betrays whom?[edit]

"Occurred 5000 years ago where mankind was in a massive war with alien intelligent life-forms. Instead of completely eliminating all of mankind, the aliens contact a human woman who betrays them in a desperate attempt to save her loved ones. This betrayal confines mankind to a contained world known as Dust Bin"

This reads as if the human woman had betrayed the aliens. In fact, she collaborated with the aliens to save humantity from extinction. I don't know if this can be read from the above passage. —Preceding unsigned comment added by PrinzMegaherz (talkcontribs) 16:37, 28 September 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Fair use rationale for Image:Shannon Casull.jpg[edit]

Image:Shannon Casull.jpg is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in this Wikipedia article constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.

Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.

If there is other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images uploaded after 4 May, 2006, and lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.

Dustbin[edit]

I was surfing Wikipedia today when I came across something in the article for Petard:

"A petard mortar was the demolition weapon fitted to the Churchill AVRE tank. It was a mortar of a 290 mm bore, known to its crews as the "flying dustbin" due to the characteristics of its projectile: an unaerodynamic 20 kg charge, sufficient to demolish many bunkers and earthworks and even disable a Tiger tank, which could be fired up to 100 m."

Would the fact that the petard mortar being called a flying dustbin quality as a weapon reference. 71.220.37.59 (talk) 20:54, 25 March 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Dragoons[edit]

It's not quite correct, is it, to say that Zefiris is the only remaining dragoon left over from the Genesis Wars? I believe there are at least two others in the course of the story.

Novels[edit]

There needs to be some info n the Scrapped Princess novels that are out. Most anime have a subsection that covers the anime, manga, soundtrack, etc. Should one of these be made? It should also include the novels and maybe the figures that were available. --8.7.69.232 (talk) 00:47, 3 October 2008 (UTC)[reply]

File:Pacifica Casull.jpg Nominated for speedy Deletion[edit]

An image used in this article, File:Pacifica Casull.jpg, has been nominated for speedy deletion for the following reason: Wikipedia files with no non-free use rationale as of 17 November 2011

What should I do?

Don't panic; you should have time to contest the deletion (although please review deletion guidelines before doing so). The best way to contest this form of deletion is by posting on the image talk page.

  • If the image is non-free then you may need to provide a fair use rationale
  • If the image isn't freely licensed and there is no fair use rationale, then it cannot be uploaded or used.
  • If the image has already been deleted you may want to try Deletion Review

Spoiler in lede[edit]

There was a significant spoiler in the lede that I recently removed. Is this accepted practice? Immanuelle ❤️💚💙 (talk to the cutest Wikipedian) 17:55, 1 June 2023 (UTC)[reply]
