Plot Rewrite?[edit]

Hey, I was wondering of someone could give this a major plot rewrite? —Preceding unsigned comment added by 24.177.99.242 (talk)

Why does land of a Million drums redirect here?[edit]

The song isn't even mentioned in the aticle! —Preceding unsigned comment added by 4.161.136.92 (talk) 22:09, August 25, 2007 (UTC)

It's used in the film's soundtrack. 17Drew 05:46, 9 September 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Tim Burton[edit]

I remember, way back in the mid-1990s, there was a rumour that Tim Burton was working on a live-action version of Scooby Doo. I can't find references to this anywhere, not even in Mark Salisbury's authorised biography, Burton on Burton. I've no idea where I first heard the story - was it just an urban myth? Possibly. All Hallow's Wraith (talk) 06:20, 31 October 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Classification of Film[edit]

Big question here - I would certainly say that this is a comedy, but comedy horror and mystery film? For something based on a children's cartoon show? Forgive me, but I don't believe this classification for the film is actually correct, as this is actually a family comedy adventure film, not the a comedy horror mystery one. Can someone kindly change this immediately, as I can't believe that this is what is being used in the Lead. GUtt01 (talk) 15:10, 13 August 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Actually... I'll make the amendments, since the film's genre is incorrectly stated in the Lead. GUtt01 (talk) 17:33, 13 August 2017 (UTC)[reply]

The Critics[edit]

The nobodies who make up rotten horrible tomatoes hated it. Metacritic, some nobody internet site with a handful of visitors hated it. Roger Ebert (who the hell is he?) hated it.

What the people really thought: It cost $84 million to make and made over $275 million at the box office. Once again critics are shown to be totally out of touch with real cinema goers. Why does anyone listen to them? ANYONE can join rotten tomatoes and suddenly wikipedia thinks your opinion of films is now worthwhile. Time to ignore that rotten site. Release date[edit]

Why does the release date say June 14th? According to Google and whatever source, the movie came out in Hollywood on the 8th, one week before it was released in the rest of the United states, I've tried adding it's Hollywood release date but a user by the name of MikeAllen keeps removing it and tries to tell me that I need to have a source to prove it came out in Hollywood on the 8th, why can't I just use Google because if you look it up it says they came out in Hollywood on the 8th. I mean come on, if the sequel monsters unleashed can have it's Wikipedia page to have a Hollywood release date which is March 20th 2004, then the Wikipedia for the first movie should have its Hollywood release date of June 8th 2002. As pointed out to you in the edit summaries, you need to provide a reliable source confirming the release date. Barry Wom (talk) 17:34, 26 December 2023 (UTC)[reply]
like a Link? I said I've looked it up on Google and it says the Hollywood release date was on the 8th, why isn't it so simple? MadBlade 2 (talk) 19:58, 26 December 2023 (UTC)[reply]
