gnocchi[edit]

"similar to the more internationally familiar Italian gnocchi" - that's just not true. they are SOMEWHAT similar in shape, but tasewise the two are about as similar as oranges and lemons. --92.216.255.174 (talk) 07:21, 19 April 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Meaning[edit]

I think German "schupfen" means "to toss", rather than "roll". --Alazon (talk) 23:07, 10 January 2020 (UTC)[reply]

PS This is actually also what the source, the Duden dictionary cited in the article, says. It has "roll" as an explanation in the entry "schupfnudel", but none of this and rather "stoßen" in the entry "schupfen". --Alazon (talk) 23:10, 10 January 2020 (UTC)[reply]
