Since the Swedish province article was moved to Skåne, there's no need for this page. Scania should be a disambig to Skåne, Scania AB and perhaps Skåneland. The scope of this as a disambig isn't exactly in line with what disambig pages should look like.

Pointless and overly zealous application of policy. Asking us to further burden the extremely busy VfD-page with this is not very constructive. This is completely obvious as a non-controversial delete and that no one has bothered to write a particular rule for this particular situation doesn't merit being a stickler for bureaucracy.
to PiaL: The name Scania is commonly used in English for the province which in Swedish is called Skåne. And of course (perhaps even more) for the bus and truck make by that name. But how often is it used for "Skåneland"? Almost never. The reason for that is that this denomination is very seldom used at all. Nobody really speks about it in everyday life. to Pia L:Region Skåne is a county councillandsting according to the Swedish Local Government Act. The landsting are described as sekundärkommuner ("secondary municipalities"). Disambiguity pages should not contain terms that require long explanations to avoid confusion. There is therefore no valid reason to refer to the regional body as a "municipal entity", especially since Skåne and Västra Götaland are normally referred to as regions in international contexts and often used by Sweden to show that the country is part of the "regionalization" efforts of the EU, in the international sense of the word (which often implies some degree of regional self-rule or autonomy above the municipal level). See for example "The Regions and Regionalism: Regionalism in Sweden", as well as this entry and the region's own web site. Calling it a "secondary municipal entity" would technically be correct, but it presumes intimate knowledge about the Swedish system - having regional entities such as "counties" or "regions" referred to as "municipal" (which implies a township, or as the entry says about Sweden's version, "a part of a county") is counterintuitive.

(Addendum about your landsting comment (an issue which would appear more appropriate on the subject's discussion page, rather than being allowed to steal space here, so I'm making it tiny): Please note that Swedish counties/regions no longer fit into one single universal Swedish model. This change is sometimes referred to as a "paradigm shift", which reveals just how difficult this may be to come to terms with. However, attempts to make the differences disappear on Wikipedia in the name of "article serie"-conformity is, in my opinion, unnecessarily deceptive. In reality, only two entities in Sweden are regional pilot regions, the others are part of the old system (i.e. where the County Administration Board is still in charge of regional development issues), or have regional cooperation agencies of a different type from Skåne's and Västra Götaland's. See for example pdf page 17 here. There are thus no longer any landstings in the traditional sense in Skåne, only Region Skåne, which also has responsibilities not associated with the traditional "secondary municipalities"/landsting in the rest of Sweden. Another reason "regional" is a better word than "municipal" on a brief mention of Region Skåne on a disambiguity page is that the region has a very active relationship with Skåne's "Regional Association of Local Authorities", which represents the 33 municipalities of Skåne.
