speedy deletion disputes[edit]

Mr. Jalal is currently a candidate for president in Afghanistan. I would think this alone qualifies him for notability, just as any American presidential candidate would qualify. I have removed some of the more value-laden language from the original entry. All current text is factual and can be verified. While his campaign website is obviously not a neutral site, scans of articles about him from the New York Times, The Daily News, and Newsday all verify the information regarding Mr. Jalal's status as a child prodigy/celebrity. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Veryrare09 (talkcontribs) 22:23, 12 February 2009 (UTC)[reply]

NPOV, sources[edit]

The current NPOV and verification tags added to this page are not followed up with discussion on the talk page that would allow someone to address specific issues. They would appear to count as "drive-by" tags. Information in question has since been edited, and disputes posted on the talk page. Will admins remove the tags? POV[edit]

There appears to be much POV in this article. While I have removed the most blatant, there may be underlying bias I do not feel I can address. This article requires more sources. Please do not remove the tag just because there is little discussion - the tag is still useful to editors who come by, even without discussion.
