Feedback for Wikipedia assignment[edit]

I'm a student at WashU, and as part of the Behavioral Ecology 2024 Wiki Education Assignment, I wanted to give you some feedback on the Wikipedia page. I've sent in a Google document with edits regarding this article to the Wiki assignment, but overall my suggestions centered around rearranging some paragraphs and considering adding more information to sections to make them flow better and leave the reader with fewer questions after. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Mikakipnisuser (talkcontribs) 16:13, 11 April 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Chri Ye (talk) 00:42, 12 April 2024 (UTC)This Wiki page contains comprehensive information about the beetle’s behavior. It is clearly written and the structure flows well. The detailed description about their adaptation to the extreme environment is interesting. I added a “Food Resources” section as the feeding behavior is one of the most important information about an organism’s living style. I also expanded the leading section and summarized the significant ideas from the entire page. I think it is a good idea to revisit the behavior section, especially Niche partitioning and Mechanism in response to Salt Flats. It might be better to use more simplified language since the information itself is not very easy to understand, so a more concise explanation can help readers understand the concept.[reply]

Feedback for Author[edit]

The following comment is left for a classmate for an assignment: This article is very well-written! I divided, renamed, and rearranged some sections to help with reader clarity ( social behavior, taxonomy, etc). The biggest thing that needs to be fixed is that citations are needed for every paraphrased sentence/sentence that uses a source. Bomapoodle (talk) 14:42, 6 April 2024 (UTC)[reply]
