Conflict of interest and POV
Large sections of the article were written by Caitlin.szymberski (talk · contribs), evidently a single-purpose account. She is a former employee of Saint-Gobain, according to her LinkedIn profile:

Wikipedia work is even explicitly listed...
I just came here looking for information on a record EU fine (€900M!) imposed on the company in 2008 for price fixing.[1] Not surprisingly, I found none. (Granted, all edits by Ms. Szymberski were prior to that.) The article needs a thorough review for POV. GregorB (talk) 13:30, 11 May 2009 (UTC)

Merging the Manufacture des Glaces & the Saint Gobain entries
It would be a pity to merge the Manufacture des Glaces with the Saint Gobain article. This has been done in the French Wikipedia, with the result of a much poorer article than in English. Jardeheu (talk) 15:14, 12 October 2010 (UTC)

Optimera
The Nordic corporation of Optimera (range of building suipplies stores) is owned by SG, including it's Norwegian subsidiery of "Monter" achain of DIY stores It's a fait bit of its revenue and should be invorporated somehow (800 MEU in Norway alone) Raymond Holmoey (talk) 21:20, 16 May 2012 (UTC)
