Date of birth and death[edit]

My name is Mazher Jaffery & I’m of of three of Safta’s brothers (Hyder & Aka reside in England). I live in Canada together with sister Aliya, we were all saddened and shocked by Safta’s early death in France. Safta (aka Safder Jaffery) was born in London on March 6th 1958 and lived in Stratham in South London. His father Dr. Syed Ali Shibbir Jaffery was a medical doctor who was born under the British Raj in Hyderabad, India. He worked at Hackney Hospital in the East End of London and as a consultant in Mosul, Iraq. Safder considered his mother Laique Begum Jaffery as his guardian angel.

Safder has two children who both mainly reside in the UK. Annisa Jaffery is involved in fashion design and Amir Jaffery is a academic. Safder married twice, and both children are from his second wife Nadia. MarzJ (talk) 21:50, 13 November 2020 (UTC)[reply]
