Notability[edit]

I am tempted to remove the notability tag, but unsure if the article meets the requirements. The STRING database is a popular resource in the bioinformatics community with more than 500 scientific citations (http://isiknowledge.com). When I compare it to all the other bioinformatics databases that have an article, I don't see, why STRING should not be notable. I would say it is ok to remove the tag. Wild8oar (talk) 16:20, 2 March 2009 (UTC)[reply]
