Comment[edit]

Unless there is a reference to the actual type of boat used by the producers in the TV show, I think most of the infobox section should be deleted as Original Research. SteveCoppock (talk) 17:53, 30 March 2008 (UTC)[reply]

According to the gilligansisle.com site, the boat is a 1964 "Wheeler" built in Carson, New York. SteveCoppock (talk) 17:59, 30 March 2008 (UTC)[reply]

About That Usage Of "S.S."![edit]

Didn't Gilligan, or maybe Bob Denver, once say he always thought it meant, "Skipper's Ship", in answer to why it had that when it wasn't a "Steam Ship"? I remember seeing something on TV in which he said words to that affect. I think it was in reply to something the Howells had asked him too. — Preceding unsigned comment added by LeoStarDragon1 (talkcontribs) 05:07, 3 June 2014 (UTC)[reply]

"MINNOW IV"?![edit]

Hey! What about the floating hut that they named, "Minnow IV"? You didn't list it! — Preceding unsigned comment added by LeoStarDragon1 (talkcontribs) 05:10, 3 June 2014 (UTC)[reply]

MinnowIII section[edit]

"The Minnow III is the plane built by the Professor...It does not have the prefix "S. S.", as it is not a steamboat."

Urrrr... thanks a lot, Gilligan!! JohndanR (talk) 03:34, 25 January 2018 (UTC)[reply]
