Note from creating editor[edit]

Roger Jones has a significant place in contemporary British Church music for a certain kind of audience. Most of his musicals include a hymn tune which can be used in regular Church services. My own library (as a church organist) includes a few of his musicals. This article is very much a starting point so that he can be referenced from Wikipedia. As part of referencing the article, I could scan the cover and publication date with ISBN from the music books I have, but that is not the proper way to proceed. It may also be breach of copyright. A better source will be page references in Graham Allan's biography. Robert of Ramsor (talk) 17:03, 10 March 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Photo request[edit]

I was very much aware that photos are needed. I have none of my own (taken by myself). I have put a request to a friend who does have photos for them to e-mail one to me with permission for it to be used with this article Robert of Ramsor (talk) 19:36, 10 March 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Link to Amazon for reference to published biography[edit]

I could not get the Wikipedia function to work with the ISBN number as I originally had it, so I used that ISBN to search Amazon only for the purpose of providing an external reference which authenticates this article. By including the link to the book stocked in various formats including e-book, it was the quickest way of providing an external reference for this article. Robert: I am not sure if external links to Amazon are permitted. I cannot find other articles that link to Amazon so I would expect that it is discouraged if not forbidden. Richardincyprus (talk) 13:43, 11 March 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Updated information[edit]

I have updated some of the information and reformatted to match Wikipedia guidelines. (PS I am sound mixer for all Roger's tours in Cyprus, and he normally stays with us when he comes here.) Richardincyprus (talk) 13:43, 11 March 2018 (UTC)[reply]
