Robert De Niro[edit]

I've heard that he is credited for the career of De niro, any truth to this claim? — Preceding unsigned comment added by 75.34.225.215 (talkcontribs) 21:09, 23 August 2007 (UTC)[reply]

-> imdb: search "robert de niro" & "roger corman" —Preceding unsigned comment added by 130.223.101.198 (talk) 11:44, 7 September 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Worth mentioning?[edit]

The music video for The Sacriligious Scorn by Dimmu Borgir was done as a tribute to his special effect style...any worth in writing that here? —Preceding unsigned comment added by 75.5.67.145 (talk) 04:30, 6 January 2008 (UTC)[reply]

The Fast and the Furious[edit]

The 1954 film "The Fast and the Furious" is not mentioned in Corman's Filmography, apparently because this is a "Partial Filmography (as Director)"

The F&F is on Wikipedia: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Fast_and_the_Furious_%281955_film%29 ...and Corman is credited on that page and on the film as producer.

What actually constitutes "Partial Filmography", it seems that any film Corman did with a horror bent is included... Sharktopus is not "Directed by Corman", only produced. Same as F&F. But it's on the list.

Corman directed 53 films ( http://www.imdb.com/name/nm0000339/bio ) ...and only about half are on the list. The Horror films.

So maybe change the title to Partial Filmography (Horror), or else get it right?

The Raven and The Terror[edit]

"After The Raven was completed, Corman reportedly realized that he still had some shooting days left before the sets were torn down and so made another film, The Terror (1963), on the spot with the remaining cast, crew and sets."

I believe that the most valuable asset here was two days of Boris Karloff's time, as he was still under contract. This triggered the whole project. WHPratt (talk) 13:17, 16 May 2012 (UTC)[reply]
As for a reference, almost contemporary: Beck, Calvin Thomas: Heroes of the Horrors; Collier Books, 1975; p. 175. There must be many others. WHPratt (talk) 03:09, 18 May 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Current Financial Troubles[edit]

Corman appears to have been robbed of $170 million by a hedge fund manager who was involved in managing his money. We need to incorporate this info into his bio.
