Going into excessive detail about the unpleasant encounters would constitute undue emphasis. As I recall, in both cases the already-described greedy possessiveness led the heir to refuse perfectly reasonable requests from respected SF professionals for minor accommodations. --Orange Mike | Talk 19:11, 17 May 2020 (UTC)[reply]
I re-added the tag with more detail. "Unpleasant encounters" is vague; if the article means "he's recently had unpleasant encounters withrefused lodging to two other local science fiction authors, Matt Duncan and Joe Henderson," then it should say so. Unfortunately I can't personally say what the article means by "unpleasant encounters." Could mean "had physical altercations with"; could mean "had arguments with"; could mean "rejected the amorous advances of"; I really have no idea. Clarification is needed. (Wikipedia is in the business of satisfying curiosity, not piquing it!) --Quuxplusone (talk) 19:29, 28 May 2020 (UTC)[reply]
Btw, I assume that the book doesn't really end with the arrival of the ticking box of chocolates, either; but maybe it does; and anyway, I forget what is the tag for "this is an advertising teaser, not a plot summary." --Quuxplusone (talk) 19:31, 28 May 2020 (UTC)[reply]
