Fair use rationale for Image:Robocop versus The Terminator box uk.jpg[edit]

Image:Robocop versus The Terminator box uk.jpg is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in this Wikipedia article constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.

Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.

If there is other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images lacking such an explanation can be deleted one week after being tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.

Notability & Possible Merge[edit]

The notability of the basic material seems inheret - however, I think it could be easily merged with the comic book series into one article. Note that "Alien vs. Predator" franchise has an entire page dedicated to the overarching concept and where it is used. A section for video games using the Robocop vs. Terminator theme could easily be established in the comic article, or the comic could be brought here... bottom line, I'd merge. --Bishop2 (talk) 14:35, 11 March 2008 (UTC)[reply]

  • the notability of your comment is: 0 and the article should stay as is.

In addition information about the NES game, which was never published should be added. The ROM was distributed on the internet few years ago. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 87.206.173.186 (talk) 08:41, 7 June 2009 (UTC)[reply]

My my, captain unsigned acts as if he really had the power to make the big changes here... arrogance... makes the fool 80.203.97.130 (talk) 00:02, 14 May 2011 (UTC)[reply]

No Master System version?[edit]

I own the Master System version. Why isn't there a mention of it? Sierraoffline444 (talk) 21:35, 24 January 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Mention of the Sega Genesis version in Review would be appropriate[edit]

The Genesis version being critically considered the superior version and all, giving mention to it in the Review section might be in order. Alialiac (talk) 14:13, 16 January 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Two questions about the game[edit]

Are the various versions of RoboCop Versus The Terminator the same game (ports) or not (reformulated games)? Which ones are considered ports and which ones aren't? 2605:E000:121D:8BF5:B9D9:31CB:F07B:28F1 (talk) 01:20, 26 April 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Never mind, I already figured it out. The Sega Genesis, SNES, Game Boy and NES versions are different games while the Master System and Game Gear versions are ports of the Sega Genesis version. 2605:E000:121D:8BF5:6535:2CB9:9689:BF44 (talk) 20:17, 26 April 2020 (UTC)[reply]
