Nice title[edit]

Heh, "Rex (dog)". I love it. Actually I'm surprised he's the only famous Rex (dog). Stevage 12:58, 10 May 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Shouldn't "euthanized" link to http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Animal_euthanasia intead or http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Euthanasia? --WhiteEcho 13:12, 13 May 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Fan POV=[edit]

The article needs a rewrite. At present it reads more like a children's book which personifies an animal rathen than an encyclopedia. Some examples:

  • One of Rex's first acts that week was helping to throw the switch that lit the National Christmas Tree.
  • Rex would live in the White House from that Christmas until Reagan left office in 1989, once gaining headlines when he underwent a tonsillectomy at an undisclosed .....hospital.[4
  • Reportedly, Rex took a disliking to the Lincoln Bedroom in the White House.
  • Rex' house "was designed by Theo Hayes, great-great grandson of President Rutherford B. Hayes, and actress Zsa Zsa Gabor reportedly conducted a dedication ceremony for the new structure." --KeithbobTalk 20:53, 23 November 2011 (UTC)[reply]
