Cracksmoker? Really?

The picture in question was actually a picture of someone who looks like rene smoking DMT. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 83.254.62.113 (talk) 21:35, 18 May 2008 (UTC)[reply]

The photograph in question is by likely that by Nan Goldin taken in 1990. It is indeed a photograph of Ricard. By his own admission, Ricard was a frequent user of recreational drugs at that time and acknowledged the photograph was of him. Karl Xtrava (talk) 21:53, 11 February 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Merger proposal[edit]

I propose that Rene ricard be merged into René Ricard. These are duplicate bio pages and information in the Rene ricard article can easily be consolodated in the René Ricard page. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Karl Xtrava (talkcontribs) 20:57, 11 February 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Article title change proposal[edit]

I stronly suggest the name of this article be revised to "Rene Ricard", without the currently displayed accent. Ricard himself did not use an accent in his name and his name does not appear with it as part of any of his major published works. Some publication editors would sometimes add the accent, which Ricard disliked. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Karl Xtrava (talkcontribs) 21:47, 11 February 2014 (UTC)[reply]
