Fused Topics[edit]

This article mixes two professorships. Dublin held the Regius Professor of Laws. 1761, George III added another professorship, the Regius Professor of Feudal and English Law (see JSTOR LEGAL STUDIES IN TRINITY COLLEGE, DUBLIN, SINCE THE FOUNDATION). The Professors on this position were:

Name Titles from to
Francis Stoughton Sullivan 1761 1766
Patrick Palmer 1766 1776
Patrick Duigenan LL.D. 1776 1816
Philip Cecil Crampton D.C.L., LL.D. 1817 1834
Samuel Mountifort Longfield M.A., LL.D. 1834 1884
Edmund Thomas Bewley M.A., LL.D., F.S.A. 1884 1890
George Vaughan Hart 1890 1909
James Sinclair Baxter LL.D. 1909
fused with Regius Professor of Laws 1934

These people are currently mixed into the list of professors, but should be listed in a separate list. On German WP, I decided to run two articles for the two professorships. However, I do not want to mess up your concept. Would you rather have one article with several lists or would you rather have multiple articles? Yotwen (talk) 04:52, 5 June 2017 (UTC)[reply]
