Untitled[edit]

Unless Raymond and William X were twins, there is no way Raymond was born in 1099. William X was born in 1099, and soon after his birth his father, William IX, departed on Crusade and did not return to France until 1102. The next year, in 1103, his daughter Agnes, future queen of Aragon, was born. More probably, as a youngest son, Raymond was not born until 1105 or thereabouts. --- Did he really have the Chanson des Chétifs composed? The University of Alabama's Old French Crusade Cycle does not mention this. Adam Bishop 21:51, 28 May 2006 (UTC)[reply]
