GA review – see WP:WIAGA for criteria

You can be assured a neutral if slightly clueless review, as I have never actually heard of this show :)

  1. Is it reasonably well written?
    A. Prose quality:
Generally very nice, a few points listed below
    B. MoS compliance:
    Ditto
  2. Is it factually accurate and verifiable?
    A. References to sources:
    B. Citation of reliable sources where necessary:
Not certain about the DVD Verdict site, but the others look great. I'm happy to let that slip here, but be aware that people may be more harsh at FAC, if you plan to take this there.
I believe DVD Verdict stands as quite a reliable DVD review website; each review is clearly well-researched and neutral (well, by a critic's standard that is) The Flash {talk} 02:53, 20 January 2010 (UTC)[reply]
    C. No original research:
  3. Is it broad in its coverage?
    A. Major aspects:
    B. Focused:
  4. Is it neutral?
    Fair representation without bias:
  5. Is it stable?
    No edit wars, etc:
  6. Does it contain images to illustrate the topic?
    A. Images are copyright tagged, and non-free images have fair use rationales:
Great image choice, a very good fair use rationale on the infobox image. Both add considerably to the article.
    B. Images are provided where possible and appropriate, with suitable captions:
  7. Overall:
    Pass or Fail:

  • Could we have the names of the minor characters linking to a character list, if one exists? If not, then it's fine how it is, context is provided.
  • "laugh at him" At Buford, or Phineas?
  • "Buford accepts and Holyfield helps Phineas train for the match, despite warnings from Phineas' friends Baljeet and Isabella, through simple tasks, like punching a chain of sausages, climbing up a down escalator, or playing Dance Dance Revolution." That sentence could do with rewriting.
  • If something belongs to Phineas, it is Phineas's, not Phineas'- the only exception is Jesus (and yeah, I accept that that's a pretty ridiculous rule). Possibly different in American English, but I don't think so.
  • "secretly a secret agent" Redundant word is redundant. Perhaps "who is, unbeknownst to Phineas, a secret agent"
  • "Phineas' is" No need for an apostrophe here
  • "who take over" Who took over?
  •  Done (I changed it to "manages, is that okay?) The Flash {talk} 02:53, 20 January 2010 (UTC)[reply]
  • "himself, who appears" change to "himself, appearing"
  • "match with Buford" Against Buford
  • Even if the other episodes do not have articles, they should be linked- redlinks are not necessarily a bad thing. Alternatively, they could be turned into redirects to the episode list page if you really don't want redlinks. This includes the infobox episodes.
  • "Ed Liu, of Toon Zone, wrote that the episode and others included on the DVD The Fast and the Phineas were way too manic for their own good, never giving a gag enough time to develop a proper laugh before ripping off to the next one,"" Quote marks don't open, they just close
  • "the "He's a Bully" montage" I'm assuming that's the training montage, but could you specify that?
  • The formatting on ref one is a little odd- only the DVD name should be in italics.

This article is a lot better than I expected it to be- very well considered, written and researched. I would be more than happy to promote once the small issues above are resolved. Feel free to drop a note on my talk page when you make the changes, though I will be watching this page. J Milburn (talk) 00:30, 19 January 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks for the review! :) The Flash {talk} 02:53, 20 January 2010 (UTC)[reply]
Fixed one dablink, and I'm now happy to promote. Nice work! J Milburn (talk) 17:36, 20 January 2010 (UTC)[reply]
