Trial of the Sixteen[edit]
While this was undoubtedly an important event in post-war Polish history, should it really be included in this article? As far as I can tell from the sources, those 'tried': had never been members of the TRJN, had never been contacted by the TRJN, were not captured by the forces of the TRJN, were never held by forces loyal to the TRJN, were not 'tried' under the authority of the TRJN, and did not serve their sentences in prisons run by the TRJN. In short, there was no connection between the TRJN and either those 'tried' (apart from the viewpoint that they should perhaps have been members of the TRJN) or the 'trial'. This event most certainly does not merit the only image in this article (and furthermore, the caption states "The leaders were invited from abroad": my understanding is that they were actually all in Poland and did not come from abroad, am I mistaken?) Recognition by France[edit]
According to Polish government-in-exile, France withdraw recognition of that govt in June 1945 but this article says that the USA recognised this govt before France did. Any thoughts or info from anybody? Varsovian (talk) 07:33, 11 August 2010 (UTC)
