December 2012 Re-assessment[edit]

I am assessing this article as Start and keeping its importance as low. The article is now more than a stub, but needs further improvement to obtain a higher rating. Bias[edit]

The place underwent dramatic social changes given its age, and also radical change in the composition of staff, their values, and priorities. This was an inevitable, reflecting the de-industrialization of the Bay Area and the loss of many of its foundational institutions and myths. A story that complex cannot be covered in an small article. I am surprised at 1) the acidity of the remarks here, 2) the fact that the neutrality tag was put without any justification or reference, and 3) the avoidance of the reality that the narrative here is typical of entries for schools all over wikipedia.
