About: "These Walls Dont Lie"[edit]

This article states, that DJ Large sampled Big Puns' "Mamma" for Promoes "these walls dont lie" and that Big Pun got the sample from a Bollywood song. But that isn't true at all. Both artists sampled a Hugo Montenegro song called "Classical Gas" (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=x7-qsGRHYX8), and i really don't know where the information about the bollywood song came from.

i don't even see if the information about a sample used in one song might be relevant for the artists biography. still i choose to correct the information. the sample is hugo montenegro's "classical gas", unarguably. (Unterstrich (talk) 23:44, 12 July 2009 (UTC))[reply]
same sh**, different toilet: On "Poor Lonesome Homeboy" (released 1999), Promoe rapped on an instrumental using a sample which has later been released on a Big Pun record, namely "Brave in the Heart", posthumously released in 2001. - ironic, ain't it? but i guess it's a tad bit unnecessary! Biased line[edit]

Removed line about him being a "sell-out" and his old fans abandoning him. Feel free to add it back in if an actual source can be provided. --85.81.86.44 (talk) 14:57, 23 November 2009 (UTC)[reply]
