Requested move 12 November 2022[edit]

The result of the move request was: Moved. WP:NCNOB dictates that titles of articles on "Other Royals" should be based on the highest title a person held. Alix was by birth a royal Princess of Luxembourg, outranking her position as Princess of Ligne. Apart from the examples cited by the proposer Princess Marina of Greece and Denmark is also a precedent for using titles at birth rather than by marriage for deceased royal women. The move discussion has been open for well over a week, and therefore there is no reason not to close it. --Estar8806 (talk) 22:35, 2 December 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Alix, Princess of Ligne → Princess Alix of Luxembourg – It seems to be the standard to refer to deceased female royals by their title of birth.
