Vandalism[edit]

There have been two attempts at vandalism (both already reverted) in the last 15 minutes. Do we need to semi-protect this page? 98.211.124.111 (talk) 01:54, 9 December 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Two Inept Elves[edit]

That's not correct. Wayne's seen as a legend in Prep and Landing who has years of experince under his belt, as the start of the special shows. He's put in for a promotion that would transfer him to another division cause he's getting tired of his job, but the promotion goes to his partner Patrick. He's then assigned Lanny, whose said by Magee to have graduated at the top of his class, his small class. Lanny's inept, Wayne's just at a point where after loosing the promotion he expected to get he no longer cares. He clearly demonstrates he's quite skillful after realizing his indifference is going to cause a kid to miss out on Christmas.

Should the article be changed to reflect this? -- annonymous 12/09/09 12:07 AM —Preceding unsigned comment added by 72.64.4.228 (talk) 05:07, 9 December 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Agreed, that section needs filling out in general, that was just the original decription from Disney. I was going to change that to Veteran and Rookie last night, but though best to wait until a proper description gets written. Please make any changes you feel necessary. "Controversy" section[edit]

Any thoughts on this? Is it well sourced? Is it sufficiently neutral? Does it give undue weight to one incident regarding the show's broadcast? --88.110.99.218 (talk) 07:52, 10 December 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Timmy's name[edit]

Is Timmy's last name Terweip or Terwelp ? Sometime it's written with a "i" and sometime with a "l"... Thanks, 5 desperate (talk) 09:55, 29 December 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Wayne article keeps getting deleted[edit]

When i first logged onto this page i wondered why there was no separate article about Wayne or Lanny like this is for most other main characters in other articles. Seeing how one was badly needed i wrote one that was almost perfectly factual. Despite this the article had been deleted on 3 separate occasions by the wiki Nazis. Now i see why their is hardly any character information. The wiki Nazis wont let anything through!

There is not enough encyclopedic content about the Prep & Landing characters to warrant breaking them out to their own articles. SpikeJones (talk) 04:03, 12 December 2011 (UTC)[reply]

That would be okay except their is no information about the characters inside the articles either. Their is simply no character info and its because the moderators wont let anything through. How else do you explain no character bios after 2 years? FYI there is enough encyclopedic content to warrant their own articles. I wrote and entire article on Wayne, all fact that was longer than the entire Prep and Landing article. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Gamecrazy500 (talkcontribs) 06:23, 12 December 2011 (UTC)[reply]

If the article you proposed was complete with citations in reliable sources, it wouldn't have been deleted. At worst, it would have been merged into this article. --McDoobAU93 06:31, 12 December 2011 (UTC)[reply]
UPDATE: I looked at the article you posted, which is available for everyone else to read here. There's nothing encyclopedic in it, I'm sorry to say. Just your interpretation of the character. Let's let the viewer make their own decisions about him. For what it's worth, an encyclopedic article on Wayne (like those that do indeed exist for some select other Disney film characters) would be composed of information on how the character was developed, usually info from the animators and producers of the film. It also could include interviews with Dave Foley, Wayne's voice actor, on what it was like working on Prep & Landing. Even with that, it'd probably be better to have it merged in here instead of in a standalone article. --McDoobAU93 06:41, 12 December 2011 (UTC)[reply]

What happened to the THIRD - Prep & Landing Short?[edit]

What Happened to the THIRD - 'Prep & Landing 1/2 hr short'??

Originally there were 3 Prep & Landing 1/2 shows, but within a couple yrs, they stopped airing the 3rd, one, and since, have only aired the other two!

So, "What happened to that 3rd 1/2hr Short"?

Also, "Why don't they air it, nor even talk about it anymore"? Danshereknow (talk) 16:22, 22 November 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Do you mean the 1-minute short, "Tiny's BIG Adventure"? It's on the Totally Tinsel Collection.
If that's not it, can you provide any details? I can't find anything on another short. Greg Lovern (talk) 07:59, 3 December 2022 (UTC)[reply]
