Ramses V[edit]

The Following Ramses_V, he died in 1145 BCE, not 2000 BCE. Since I have no access to ref. [7], I cannot assess whether the error is therein or was introduced by using the reference in the article. --Ralf Muschall (talk) 12:44, 19 March 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Missing viruses?[edit]

What happened to Quokkapox virus and others that were listed on this page and are no longer included? --Nessie (talk) 15:17, 16 February 2012 (UTC)[reply]

The ICTV has never listed Quokkapox virus in its official releases. Bervin61 (talk) 16:15, 23 June 2015 (UTC)[reply]

replication[edit]

The statement that DNA-dependent RNA polymerase allows replication is potentially confusing. It seems the author means that DNA-dependent RNA polymerase allows replication of virions by allowing the synthesis of new viral mRNA's and therefore viral proteins. However, RNA polymerase won't help you with DNA replication--that's going to require a DNA-dependent DNA polymerase, right? — Preceding unsigned comment added by 130.20.11.28 (talk) 19:30, 20 August 2013 (UTC)[reply]
