Archaeology[edit]

The excellent photo of 1976 excavations is in direct contradiction of the text's "the only major archaeological excavations were carried out by Roach Smith in 1850 and 1852". What is the history of the archaeology of the site? Deipnosophista (talk) 19:04, 22 May 2012 (UTC)[reply]
