Removal of tags[edit]

I got rid of the objectionable material and added enough so that I feel justified in removing the tags. I will continue to work on this for bit, refining it. I think it has too much material for a stub but if you disagree put the stub tag back in (it must have had one once).

I would say this article had been filled in by a certain Corsican musical group that likes to meddle in Wikipedia, whom I've had to remove from other articles on Corsica. First of all, fellows, your English is terrible, certainly nowhere good enough to write on the English Wikipedia. I would suggest the French, Italian or Corsican Wikipedia. Second, you seem to be confusing encyclopedia-writing with song-writing. We aren't interested in your emotional impact or your poetry and besides you may be able to do that in Corsican or French but you don't really understand the English mentality. Your images don't necessarily appeal to us. And finally you seem to be under the impression that you are doing yourselves a publicity favor by inserting yourselves into these Corsica articles. Unfortunately unpolished and unplanned publicity is apt to have the opposite effect. I don't get the feeling that we are impressed by your great personalities; rather, you seem to me anyway rude, illiterate, clumsy and infantile. Now Elvis, he had the voice and the movements, and Liberace, he had the grand suavity and glittering style as well as the ability to play the piano. Whatever you got must only be appreciated by Corsicans. All I am suggesting is that Wikipedia is not the appropriate vehicle to present you and you are doing yourselves more harm than good by meddling here and although we have intense teen-age girls too and lots of rebels with or without causes they don't go searching through Wikipedia for elderly Corsican father-figures mooning chansons d'amour, so get out of our hair and stay out, will you?Dave (talk) 20:46, 23 May 2008 (UTC)[reply]
