Porterfield Aircraft - Reference 12 "Failed Verification"[edit]

The June 1975 Sport Flying magazine (Vol. 1, Issue 2) article on Porterfield Aircraft entitled "THE COMPLETE STORY ON PORTERFIELD" also references Columbia Aircraft Co. taking over Porterfield Aircraft.

Additionally, my father worked as an aeronautical engineer for Ed Porterfield on multiple occasions. Subsequently, my father was employed by the FAA and worked with Columbia Aircraft on notices to airmen and issuance of Airworthiness Directives related to balanced ailerons. I have personal correspondence and papers to back this up

What needs to be done to fix the "failed verification" status of the statement that Columbia Aircraft Co took over support of the Porterfield Type after Porterfield Aircraft went out of business? MacTexas (talk) 21:20, 8 April 2023 (UTC)[reply]
