Agreed, I never found anything wrong. Just that an IP created the article when the draft was still there, and I couldn't stop the influx of edits as I didn't have access to my PC then. Should've waited for the AfC to end. We simply have to expand the draft using the latest info from the article and get it reviewed. Onel5969 was misinformed, or did a mechanical copyvio review. The issue is that the AfD was closed as delete, it was not draftified, as there was an existing draft, which needs to be reviewed and approved through AfC. And there was a copyvio violation, which has been revdel'd now. Onel5969 ^{TT me} 11:48, 2 May 2023 (UTC)[reply]

@DaxServer Undeleted for the time being but rerunning Earwig shows two large matches with [1] and [2] which both appear to be older than 29 April. I say appear as neither carries a date stamp but the url of citimuzik implies March. So while movie-buzz may be a reverse copyvio, I'm not sure about these two. Never did I expect the article to face difficulties remaining in mainspace even after the release date, but the previous AfD result (deletion on WP:CRYSTAL grounds) will not apply now that the film is out. No one is actively disagreeing that the film hasn't achieved notability (already the fifth-biggest Indian film of the year) so we should forego the red tapism and save everyone's time involved. @Nthep The article was a redirect to Production of Ponniyin Selvan: I and Ponniyin Selvan: II when you ran the copyvio check thus the content is loaded from that page. I'm losing the plot here. So some questions:

Is any of the history of this article a copyvio of an external site?
Was any of this article a copy-paste from Ponniyin Selvan: I which doesn't appear to have been attributed?
Today there have been four insertions of text. Is this original work or copied from the draft?

Here is the crime-committing website, and I have reported them to Digital Millennium Copyright Act. Best decision is, delete this page and move the draft to this title. Deletion was not an option, as content from the history of the former redirect and content from the draft were being copied back and forth, and those revisions are required for contributor attribution. History merge wasn't an option either because of the back-and-forth, so I did the best I could with template notices. As far as the external website copying our content, please have a look here for advice.

@Elumalai Babu. E, Barny the lad, Krimuk2.0, and J T C 913: you all made an incredible mess of this with your impatient copy-and-paste edits.
