Biased article[edit]

This article is clearly biased, and the citations have very little value, they just state the same facts which are stated in the promotion of plastic roads, which come from nowhere and are not backed up by any reliable source. I'd suggest completely rewriting the article using sources which are based on actual facts, or deleting the article altogether to avoid misleading any person who might read it thinking its statements have been proven and are neutral. I can't see where there is non-neutral content here. If something is disputed, note that in the article and cite the other POV. As a developer that builds roads, I find this tooic pretty interesting and will follow how science and testing develop the concept. Legacypac (talk) 16:21, 22 August 2017 (UTC)[reply]

I agree about this being biased. Most of the cited articles are from posts by that one company, trying to profit from this idea, pretty much like the Solar Roadways guys. There are tons of videos on youtube debunking all these "wonderful" new technologies, and this is one of the controversial, but scientifically provable never-to-work ones. Basically this page has become an ad for it. I suggest removing EVERYTHING that isn't linked to an actual scientific paper, instead of letting news articles be the sources. This article is highly opinionated and relies on news articles for sources. Reads like a marketing/PR piece. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 82.12.133.106 (talk) 23:01, 13 April 2018 (UTC)[reply]

in Pros I'm not sure how beneficial this is: "Since plastics come with various chemical and physical properties, roads can be engineered to meet specific requirements (e.g. weather and wear resistance)" It might be better to discuss mix design here since it is the increase in complexity of the mix that changes the possible chemical properties. While there are new properties that can be measured these are only beneficial if they are actually required. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Cravatitude (talkcontribs) 07:55, 21 March 2019 (UTC)[reply]
