Quality[edit]

I find several things in this article confusing. Let's get started:

"Livartzi sits at 800 m above sea level. It sits on the foot of Mount Erymanthos."

What does Livartzi have to do with Plaka? That's a different place according to the article. Is it Livartzi or Plaka that's at 800 m? Which one is on the foot of the mountain?

Altitude: -lowest: -centre: about 700 m (stream) 800 m 1,821

What stream is this? It's not mentioned in the article. Is there a stream (as in a flowing body of water) near the village?

"The village [...] has about 2 to 3 km of hydro and phone lines."

And by "hydro lines", we mean power lines, right? If so, let's just say power lines. If we mean water, say that. And the fact seems a bit weird anyway. Don't these lines connect to the main power and phone grids? Then there'll be a lot more km of lines...

"After World War II and the Greek Civil War, its buildings were rebuilt and emigration occurred at a higher rate until 1961 through to 1991, it became one of the few villages in mountainous Achaia to regain is population."

I can't parse this. Was there a higher rate of emigration until 1961, and then a reversal of that, leading to the village regaining its population by 1991?

"Dessino became connected with asphalt in the 2000s."

What's Dessino, and what does it have to do with Plaka? Is it that the first asphalt road connecting Plaka happened to connect to Dessino?

"In 1997, the ex-community (now a village and a municipal district) joined to become the newly formed municipality of Aroania."

What's an "ex-community"? I guess "community" has some formal meaning, given its use earlier in the article. Are we trying to say "In 1997, the parts that had formerly made up the Community of Plaka (now divided into a village and a municipal district) were re-joined to become the newly formed municipality of Aroania."? Or was there something else that it was joined to?

"Today, it is a village with a few inhabitants, it is populated during the summer months."

If it has "a few inhabitants", it's not just populated during the summer months, right? And didn't we just say that it "regained its population"? Try to align those claims.
