Expand (copied from K7L's AfC comment)[edit]

Comment: This text needs to be expanded. There are surviving copies of his book "Épitomé des preceptes de Médecine et chirurgie avec ample déclaration des remèdes propres aux maladies", various editions throughout the 1600s [1][2][3] and a web search should be able to find more secondary sources to expand the article.
