The music used is Tourdion[edit]

Turdion is a different dance from Basse dance, it's just part of a suite consisting of two separate melodies, one for slow/low and one for fast/high dance, as is typical of the Renaissance dances and it's the second used in the clip on this page, and it's a tourdion dance. Tourdion is a dance form, supposedly similar to the galliard.
