To me the definition ("describes the context of words") doesn't seem very clear, neither is the difference between idioms, phrasal verbs, multi-word units. A great example of phraseology would be the unique 'language' spoken by Air Traffic Controllers and pilots. In the context of doing their jobs, they require a form of communication that is clear concise, and follows a universal pattern.
