Promotional research and public work sections.[edit]
It appears the research and public works sections are gratuitously written in order to promote such publications and should be culled. Pabsoluterince (talk) 11:10, 13 August 2023 (UTC)[reply]
OK, got it. I see that these lists are longer than those on similar pages, so I culled the list of media mentions in the research section, and the list of publications in the public work sections. Feel free to cut more. Yyyikes (talk) 23:53, 13 August 2023 (UTC)[reply]
Please do not directly edit pages that you have a COI. The policy page Wikipedia:Autobiography says the following "Editing a biography about yourself is acceptable only if you are removing unambiguous vandalism or clear-cut and serious violations of our biography of living persons policy." This edit request by an editor with a conflict of interest has now been answered.
I think the COI box is no longer necessary. The article was edited by the subject (me) in the past, and now some extraneous details were removed as a result. Now there is no remaining unreliable or inappropriate content. The COI warning has served its function.
