Will someone write something about the person who plays Mr. Messerschmidt please?

21st Century[edit]

Isn't it 2000-2099? Phil should be from the 22nd XD — Preceding unsigned comment added by MilkshakeX (talkcontribs) 10:56, 10 January 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Is Phil gay?[edit]

Fredrich (played by Stephen Schwab): A crush of Phil's who is a friend of Pim. Some may say he has a very flamboyant personality. - I hope that's a mistake? —Preceding unsigned comment added by Danisnub (talkcontribs) 01:29, 3 March 2008 (UTC)[reply]

I never seen an ep. like that. Did PotF get renewed?--Matthew (talk) 03:13, 7 March 2008 (UTC)[reply]

No it didn't, I think this was just a prank by someone. Should we delete? —Preceding unsigned comment added by Danisnub (talkcontribs) 22:29, 9 March 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Phil of The Future[edit]

Is the series really from Slovakia?

Who told you that? —Preceding unsigned comment added by 71.183.68.197 (talk) 23:20, 12 November 2007 (UTC) if he is gay you need to mind your own buisness. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Kissingfool (talkcontribs) 06:16, 26 November 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Fan Edits[edit]

Assuming a fan added : "Most likely the show will continue with another season this can't' be the end? Because many of the Episodes stat that The Diffy's were meant to get stuck in the 21st century, and that phil and keely were meant to be together." Removed the said sentence as it is speculation based on hope and feelings, not cited fact. Popher 23:22, 30 September 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Good. Latley this article is getting jumbled up with all sorts of vandilism about the show returning. It's bad because 1)It's Vandilism. 2) Wikipedia isn't here for rumours or speculaton 3) Biased on the basis it comes from someone who wants the show to return 4) The show is over with no confirmed source to state it will return. UnDeRsCoRe 23:26, 30 September 2006 (UTC)[reply]
it has to continue cause they go back for curtis in the end —Preceding unsigned comment added by 24.171.65.101 (talk) 05:05, 7 July 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Who deleted the rest of the goofs[edit]

The title says it all-kingdomheartsora

Delete, please?[edit]

I don't know if it's my place to delete this, I'm no diehard Phil of the Future fan - but I've watched quite a few episodes and I think I would've remembered this if it happened... o_0

"*THEDARKWIZARD-a "evil"(colors are only black beacuse ther is only one) vesion of the wizard it has all the gadgets listed below plus the giggle and a time travel atachment (it also works around pudding) the device falls into the wrong hands and triggers a future war then the whight wizard falls ito phils hands and he begins a time traveling mission to fix everything. a)The multi wizard has all the gadgets fetured in the series and is an option on the dark wizards menu b)legend fetures that never made it in the finished product T.V.,Holovider,person tracker,S.O.S,Scaner,etc. c)White wizard tracker (legend) (to find the story buy the movie pack of phil of the future and the never before seeen). Well thats about 1/1000000000 of 1 out of Google/of google of its fetures (not to mention improbelity field drivers)

  • THEWHITEWIZARD same as dark wizard but instead of being black its white(duh!)and has a dark wizard tracker.

lots to be added resurching them as you read."

Vandalism, I'm guessing, and horribly written... can someone delete please?

-Also, does anyone know which episode revealed that "Piama" was Pim's real name? Toadette Fan 07:56, 14 January 2007 (UTC)[reply]

I deleted the fake wizard parts - definitely not in the show. As for Pim's real name, I don't remember it ever being said, but maybe someone else will. Elected 18:32, 14 January 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Class of 2004[edit]

Apparently, this was the most successful of an underwhelming group of shows released on Disney in 2004. (The others being "Brandy & Mr. Whiskers" and the quickly scrapped "Dave the Barbarian"), but would this be of enough merit to include in the article?

WAVY 10 14:09, 6 February 2007 (UTC)[reply]

It is a possible consideration for addition... personally, I think that the whole "Save POTF" movement is pretty interesting too, but I'm not sure if it belongs. If you can get some actual citable statistics about "Phil's" success over other shows, then you probably have something. Otherwise, someone will likely remove it. Keep up the progressive thinking! Phil of the Future/Philosphy of the Future[edit]

I have a nephew who watches this program, and when I babysit, I sometimes watch it with him. Admittingly it is amusing at times. Anyhow, I was studying philosphy for awhile, and I happen to be a fan of Neitzche's writings. He wrote a book analyzing Ludwig Feuerbach's "Principles of the Philosophy of the Future". I was just wondering if that is what inspired the name of show, a sort of play on words. The same as the naming of the highschool, or if this is just a coincidence.

Interesting, that could be possible! If you find anything that verifies this feel free to add it to the article. --Malevious Userpage •Talk Page• Contributions 15:40, 10 February 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Futurama reference[edit]

Is the title of the show a reference to Phil(ip J. Fry) of Futur(ama)? Are the creators fans? —The preceding unsigned comment was added by PennsylvaniaPatriot (talkcontribs) 18:04, 14 April 2007 (UTC).[reply]

Character's age[edit]

In 2121, Phil and Pim were 14, and 12, respectively. So, Phil was born in 2107 and Pim in 2109.Just because they get older because they were in this century for 2 years doesn't change their birth year. So, the birth dates in the article are wrong. --Robors 01:45, 7 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Plot Change[edit]

I remeber in one commercial they claimed Barb was a cyborg and in that commercial, they have a scene with her body flailing around on a couch due to a malfunction. Of course this isnt present in any episodes. Does anyone remeber a commercial like like that? supremecouncil

You may be thinking of Debbie Berwick, a "sometime friend, sometime foe" of Pim's during the first season. WAVY 10 15:10, 29 July 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Movie?[edit]

There's a mention of a movie coming out in '08. Hype/wishful thinking or real? WAVY 10 18:50, 1 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]

For now it's wishful thinking. Alyson already has a busy schedule, especially as half of Aly & AJ. Glenn L (talk) 09:30, 10 June 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Deletion[edit]

I deleted the following sentence that was added after the character descriptions, it contradicted the rest of the article, wasn't well written, and wasn't cited -

"A season 3 is being produced in August of 2007, and then the 3rd and final season will debut in Febuary of 2008 and run until September 2008 when it has its series finale."

If anybody has a problem, you cna just revert it or something :] AmandaWins 20:29, 7 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Slovakia[edit]

Don't put a lie in the article like this: Phil of the Future is a Slovakian series. Don't do that. that happened once

Ms Winston[edit]

Does Anybody know who acted Ms Winston?? 203.129.35.90 09:39, 29 July 2007 (UTC)[reply]

The main article may have omitted that info when this was asked, but it was Suzanne Krull.

Update: Among her first roles as an actor was that of The Fox in the 1995 remake of "The Tie That Binds." She may be best known for her work on Nash Bridges, where she first had a guest spot as Lucy in the Season 3 episode "Blackout" (1997) before getting a recurring role as alien-lover Betty Ann McCurry throughout the 5th and final season (2000-2001). Glenn L (talk) 09:22, 10 June 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Why was the secondary cast removed?[edit]

I haven't been here in a while but some time ago all the info on the cast changes between seasons 1 and 2 were removed and no mention of it here. Why? 64.16.40.18 18:09, 31 July 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Rewrite[edit]

I'm not sure how long it has been like this, but someone changed the entire page. It most likely needs to be rewritten.

Don't woory, Mr/Mrs McWorry. I deleted a sencence about there contract being up. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 74.46.57.68 (talk) 20:13, 16 August 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Book article merged[edit]

I hope no one minds me being bold and merging the article Phil Of The Future Books into this one. There were only two books listed on that page and there was already a small section in this article on the books. I kept what little info was there (about the 3rd & 4th books) but there are still some fields that need to be filled in. Ospinad 14:51, 23 August 2007 (UTC)[reply]

I found the separate article still there and have filled in the gaps, thanks to getting all four for $1.99 each at the Carlsbad Mall Crown Books. There's supposed to be a fifth - "Mad Science" - but I don't know if it was ever released due to the series being cancelled, so I'm leaving it out for now. — Glenn L (talk) 09:09, 6 March 2011 (UTC)[reply]

I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in this Wikipedia article constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.

Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.

If there is other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images uploaded after 4 May, 2006, and lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. Phil of the Future moves from Disney Channel to Disney XD[edit]

On Monday, September 8th, 2008 @ 12:30am (Eastern / Pacific time), "The Giggle" will mark the last time Phil of the Future airs on Disney Channel - at least for now. Its 12:30am slot will be replaced by Cory in the House. Glenn L (talk) 02:09, 4 September 2008 (UTC)[reply]

And after four months it's back, now on the just-renamed Disney XD (formerly Toon Disney/Jetix). Additionally, the episodes are now airing in the actual chronological order as shown in the revised List of Phil of the Future episodes, rather than the original airdate order. Glenn L (talk) 19:36, 25 February 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Ms. Mayberry[edit]

Why is Ms. Mayberry not mentioned in the cast. She appeared in the episode, Raging Bull. 74.183.60.33 (talk) 17:21, 30 June 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Series setting[edit]

The series, as noted in We'll Fix it In Editing and the book Far-out Phil, was set in Pickford, California. This appears to be at odds with the episode Phillin' In, where Pim is located in the hills at "42 [degrees North] latitude and 112 [West] longitude" (on Bergeson Hill, Utah, some 10 miles SW of Preston, Idaho). However, by changing the longitude to "122 [West]" we get a location about 5 miles WNW of Dorris, California, which at least gets the state correct. — Glenn L (talk) 09:10, 6 August 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Inconsistent tenses[edit]

There are many inconsistent tenses in the season and character descriptions. Can somebody fix this (if it is not fixed soon, I will do it)? Alexroller (talk) 18:28, 4 March 2012 (UTC)[reply]
