Claim that Hibbs was on the Endeavour[edit]

I apologize in advance for any rule violations I may commit in using this page - I'm a novice.

I'm a Hibbs descendant. I'm interested in Stephen Yarrow's claim that Arthur Phillips wrote a report stating that Hibbs was chosen to sail with the First Fleet because he had previously visited the Australian continent with Cook. I've asked Allan Maunder about this before, by email. He replied that as far as he is aware, there is no documentary evidence known to exist which could confirm the question of whether Hibbs was on the Endeavour. I note that the web page given as citation for Stephen Yarrow's assertion has been around for a few years. Is it not possible to ascertain the source that Stephen Yarrow refers to? Does Stephen Yarrow continue to stand by his claim? And if he does, can he not "produce" the report he refers to? I have done some half-baked internet searches trying to identify any reports prepared by Arthur Phillips on the First Fleet, but to no avail so far.
